Terms of Use
Roll App Terms of Use
Revision date: 29 August 2026
This English version is provided for users who prefer English. Roll App is operated under the laws of the Russian Federation. If this translation differs from the Russian version, the Russian version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms govern the use of the Roll App mobile application, the roll-app.ru website, the server template catalogue, advertising features, Premium access and payments.
1. Agreement and licence
These Terms constitute a user and licence agreement between individual entrepreneur Danila Sergeevich Lukyanov (Stray Token brand), INN 366234240541, OGRNIP 326366800075594 (the Operator), and a Roll App user.
Installing, launching or using Roll App, the website or server features; uploading a template; viewing an advertisement for access; creating a payment; or accepting the documents in the interface means that the user accepts these Terms. A user who does not accept them must stop using the relevant functions.
Roll App is not intended for children and is not directed at a child audience. The application is intended for users who may independently use the service, accept its terms and provide the required consents under applicable law. If a user has not reached the age at which they may independently perform the relevant actions, functions involving data transfer, publication of materials, advertising or payments must be used by their legal representative or with that representative's consent.
The Operator grants the user a free, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use Roll App for its intended purpose on the user's devices while these Terms remain in force. The user may not sell, distribute, sublicense, bypass technical restrictions or interfere with the application, website, advertising mechanisms, payment logic or server infrastructure except where applicable law expressly permits it.
The software code, design, graphics, databases, website, Roll App name and other service elements are protected and belong to the Operator or their respective right holders.
2. Purpose of the service
Roll App is a board game companion for scores and parameters, timers, dice rolls, random player selection, game templates, score history and network games. It helps organize a game but is not an official application of board game publishers, does not replace the rules of a particular game and does not guarantee that a user-created template is correct.
3. Device and author profile
Roll App may use a technical installation or device identifier, a device token or signature and an author nickname to associate templates with a device without creating a conventional account with a login and password.
The user is responsible for retaining access to their device and available transfer or recovery information. Recovery may be impossible when identifiers, signatures or transfer data are lost.
Local game sessions, local statistics and local achievements may be stored on the user's device and used to display progress, achievements, ranks and game history. The Operator cannot access such data unless it is transmitted to the Operator through a separate function.
4. Local and network games
Games and player profiles may be stored locally on the user's device. Network play may operate on the same local network or through an online room. The host controls the session and connected roles determine which actions are available. Network quality, firewall settings, browser restrictions and third-party infrastructure may affect connectivity.
5. User templates and materials
The user or the relevant right holder retains exclusive rights to user-created templates and other user materials unless a separate agreement expressly provides otherwise.
By uploading a template to the Roll App server, the user grants the Operator a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, reproduce, make technical and backup copies, convert formats, adapt the template to the application's technical requirements, create preview images, review, moderate, publish, display and distribute the template within the Roll App catalogue, provide access to other users, and include the template in collections, recommendations, search results and other Roll App functions.
The licence applies for the entire period during which the template is available in the Roll App catalogue. For a published and approved template, the licence also continues after deletion of the author's profile unless the user deleted the template before deleting the profile or submits a separate template deletion request that must be fulfilled under these Terms and applicable law.
When an author profile is deleted, consent to personal data processing is withdrawn or the link between a template and a device is lost, the Operator may retain a published template in anonymized form, without a nickname or name, avatar, technical identifier, device association or other information that could link the template to a particular user. It may be labelled as created by the Roll App community, an unknown author, a deleted user or without author attribution.
User materials must not contain insults, threats, harassment, discriminatory statements, sexualized content, promotion of violence, extremist or other unlawful materials, spam, malicious code or instructions, third-party personal data without a lawful basis, misleading materials, or materials that infringe third-party rights. Complete copies of protected board game rules, illustrations, trademarks or other protected elements may not be uploaded without the right holder's permission.
The Operator may use automated and manual review methods, including unwanted-language filters, pre-moderation, repeated post-publication moderation and user complaint review. The Operator may hide, reject, remove or change the status of material, restrict an author's publication functions, revoke Premium granted for that material or take other reasonable action where there is a reasonable suspicion of a violation of law, these Terms, third-party rights, security requirements or normal service operation.
Users may report a published template through the application interface or by email to luckyanov.d@roll-app.ru.
The user confirms that they have the rights required for all materials included in a template and that publication in Roll App does not infringe the rights of third parties, board game publishers, authors or artists, trademark owners or other right holders.
The Operator may restrict access to or remove material when there is a reasonable suspicion that it violates the law, these Terms or third-party rights. Copyright and other right-holder notices should be sent to copyright@roll-app.ru and should identify the protected work, disputed material, grounds for the claim and the claimant's contact details.
6. Advertising and Premium
The free version may display advertising. Advertising availability, format and frequency may depend on platform, region, consent settings and technical restrictions.
Premium disables advertising in the application for the purchased period and may enable additional functions described on the pricing and payment page. Current plans and fixed prices are published at https://roll-app.ru/pricing/. Access is provided electronically after confirmed payment.
The method of purchasing Premium depends on the application version, distribution store, user's country, technical availability of payment services and the relevant platform's rules. In app-store versions, Premium may be purchased through the store's payment system, through an alternative payment program permitted by the store, or may be unavailable in particular countries or versions.
CloudPayments or another external payment provider may be used only in versions, regions and scenarios where that method is consistent with the relevant app-store rules and applicable law. The presence of a Premium section in the interface does not mean that a purchase is available in every country, app store or application version.
Premium may also be granted without payment as promotional, testing, gift or support-compensation access, through an activation code, or for a useful contribution to Roll App, including an approved template, translation, correction or other material. Such access is not monetary compensation, payment for work, a contest, lottery, wager, prize or financial instrument. The Operator determines the grounds, duration and conditions for free Premium and may refuse, restrict, cancel or terminate it because of a breach, material deletion, suspected abuse, spam, infringement of third-party rights or a technical error.
The Operator may change future plan contents and prices but does not retroactively shorten an already paid access period. Unless a plan explicitly states otherwise, a fixed-term plan does not renew automatically.
7. Payments and refunds
Where direct payment is available in the relevant version and region, payments are processed by CloudPayments, the applicable app store, or another provider identified before payment, together with participating banks or payment systems. The Operator does not receive or store full bank card details. A payment may require a device or installation identifier, plan, amount, currency, order number, payment identifier and status.
Refunds are handled under the mandatory rules of applicable law. If Premium access has already been activated and fully provided, amounts for an elapsed usage period are not refunded except where the law requires otherwise. A duplicate or technically incorrect payment should be reported with information sufficient to locate the order.
8. Acceptable use
The user must not attack, scan, overload or disrupt the service; bypass access restrictions; impersonate another person; falsify payment or device information; publish malicious or unlawful content; or use Roll App to violate applicable law or third-party rights.
9. Availability and updates
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, updates, network failures, third-party platform changes and force majeure may temporarily limit functionality. The Operator may update Roll App, templates, supported platforms and server interfaces to improve security, compatibility and functionality.
The Operator is not responsible for game results, user decisions, incorrect user templates, unavailable third-party services or indirect losses except where such limitation is prohibited by law. These Terms do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.
10. Personal data
Personal data is processed under the Privacy and Personal Data Policy at https://roll-app.ru/en/privacy-policy/ and the Consent to Personal Data Processing at https://roll-app.ru/en/personal-data-consent/.
11. Changes and termination
The current revision is published on the website. Material changes may require renewed acceptance in the application. The user may stop using the service and request deletion of eligible server data. The Operator may suspend access where necessary to protect the service, comply with law or respond to a material breach.
12. Governing law and contacts
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, while mandatory rights granted by the law applicable to a consumer remain unaffected. The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute through a written request.
